The Åland Archipelago Guest Artist Residence in Kökar was
created for an international artist exchange project with Ireland and Catalonia.
The center offers artists who want to find inspiration from nature a great
opportunity to develop their work. The basic idea behind the creation of this
center is to experience a new surrounding for creative work. The center also
wishes to improve artist's ability to pay attention to constructed natural
environment and, eventually, to find new ways for interaction between artists,
society and environment.
The center is welcoming all visual artists and craftsmen.

from Långnäs on the Åland mainland and Galtby Korppoo archipelago
of Turku from mainland Finland.
Please send a freely formulated application, work plan + CV to reach us by the end of February for the period from May-September and by the end of September for the period October-April. Please state the preferred duration of your stay.
